Hornbach

Michale Hornbach was a master slater and founded a craftsman's company in 1877. His son Wilhelm expanded it in 1900 to include building supplies. In 1968 the great-grandson of the company founder opened a combined DIY and garden centre, the first of its kind in Europe. And the rest is history, for Hornbach has become an indispensable part of the everyday lives of hobby gardeners and DIY enthusiasts.
